Atom LL, U11 2014/2015, 2018-2019 (TCDMHA)

The RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels ended their season by bowing out to the Owen Sound Red LL team 5-1 at the Julie McCarthur Arena Thursday night.  The loss allowed Red to capture the Builders Division Championship 2 games to none in the Best of 3 match-up.  

This afternoon in Desboro the RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels let Game 1 slip away in a 2-1 loss.  The kids played a strong game but were unable to generate enough offence to come back in the tight checking contest.  Billy Catto scored the loan goal with a beauty end to end rush.  With the loss the Rebels will have to go the hard route by winning their next two games to capture the Builders championship.  It was suggested that our boys were playing to make sure we got the 2nd home game of the series to get gate receipts.  Must win Game 2 is Thursday March 21 in OS at the Y.

The RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels advanced to the Builders Championship best of 3 Final with a thrilling 5-4 victory at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Saturday afternoon. 

Tuesday night the RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels let one slip away in round robin action in Desboro.  The home team ran into an organized OS Red team that played a better small rink game than our Rebels did on this night.  Justin Nagel and Liam Cooke combined for a solid game in the net but the Rebels were unable to answer back losing 1-0.  With a 4-1 record, the same as OS Red, the Rebels will need a strong game vs OS Gold in order to move into the Builders Championship final.  Final game of round robin is Saturday, 3:45pm at the Bayshore vs OS Gold.

Saturday afternoon the RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels beat Bruce Penninsula 10-2 at home, keeping their strong playoff run on course.
