Through to the Finals!
The RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels advanced to the Builders Championship best of 3 Final with a thrilling 5-4 victory at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Saturday afternoon.
Braden King once again fired a hat trick to pace the Rebels. Duncan Hofmann added a goal and an assist while Kayden Kirk chipped in with goal from the slot. Riley Roblin made it on to the game sheet with an assist. Putting the scoresheet aside the whole team contributed to the win. Both goalies Liam Cooke and Justin Nagel made outstanding saves throughout. The rock solid defence corps of Dane Snyder, Matthew Casemore, Conlan Couch and Billy Catto were solid at both ends of the rink. Centres Simon Potter, Kayden Kirk and Riley Roblin followed the coaches game plan to a tee by pursuing the puck with tenacity while wingers Rogan Vanstone, Duncan Hofmann, Braden King and Owen Cooke owned the boards. To be noted, the players used the big ice surfce to pass the puck around beautifully. Looking forward to the final series!!
