That's Three....
Thursday night the RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels respectfully downed Bruce Penninsula 9-0 in playoff round robin play. Dane Snyder and Matthew Casemore, moonlighting as forwards, provided the bulk of the scoring with their first goals of the year. Snyder opened the scoring on the first shift of the game and went on to complete a hat trick. Matthew Casemore settled in to his temporary role on the right wing to score his first two goals of the season. Braden King continued his torrid pace with a hat trick also. Single marker went to Billy Catto on a nifty end to end rush.
The game sheet we received was mutilated so we were unable to figure out who got the assists. This was unfortunate because we had been running an 'Assist Challenge' that night to see who could get the most assists. Many of the kids were playing out of position in order to help other teammates get on the scoresheet and there was plenty of excellent passing plays throughout the game. The second game of this home and home tilt goes Saturday at 1pm in Desboro. Come out and cheer on our team!!
