Unfortunately for the Rebels........
The Township of Chatsworth "Air-Tech Mechanical" Bantam Boys LL1 played the Bruce Peninsula Predators on Monday, March 5th, 2018 at the Wiarton Arena.  This was the sixth playoff game for the Rebels.

The game started out slowly with each team looking tired.  Perhaps it was because it was a Monday or perhaps it was because of the 8:00 p.m. start.  It was difficult to tell.

With 2:48 left in the period, Jack Diaz decided to change all that by scoring the first goal of the game, assisted by Adam Gorman.  Unfortunately for the Rebels, the Predators answered back with about 45 seconds left in the period.  1 - 1 at the end of period one.

Both teams tried to break the tie during period two.  Rebel's netminder, DJ Gamble did not allow a single goal during this period, coming up with some really big saves.  Unfortunately for the Rebels, the Predator's goalie did the same.  1 - 1 at the end of period two.

Things seemed to look better at the beginning of period three.  Curtis Wade scored at 14:06, assisted by Dalan Frook.  Curtis Wade scored again at 12:43, assisted by Pearce Lacey and Aaron Sadler.  Unfortunately for the Rebels, the Predators scored at 10:15 and again at 2:14.  The Rebels tried to score again but could not make things happen.  The game went into Over-Time.

Unfortunately for the Rebels, Bruce Peninsula scored with 4:30 left in the Over-Time period.

Final Score:    Rebels   3,  Predators 4

Congratulations to the Predators!!

Good Effort Rebels!!  Get some sleep!!  Tomorrow is a new day!!
