Seven Different Players Score in 8 - 3 Victory!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Air-Tech Mechanical" Bantam Boys LL1 played the Walkerton Capitals on Friday, January 26th, 2018 at the Walkerton Arena. It was a rare Friday night game for the Rebels but they demonstrated that Friday just might be their favourite day of the week!!
The game looked fairly even for the first 6.5 minutes of play and then Dalan Frook changed that by intercepting a Walkerton pass, quickly made a series of skillful moves, and scored the first goal of the game. This was the only goal scored in period one.
Period two began with Walkerton scoring their first goal at 11:51. Curtis Wade answered right back, assisted by Dalan Frook and Avery Ash. Landon Heathers scored the next goal of the game, assisted by Pearce Lacey. Then it was Pearce Lacey's turn to score, assisted by Landon Heathers and Curtis Wade. Four to one at the end of period two.
Period three started out fairly even. Colby McComb scored a nice one at 9:33, assisted by Curtis Wade. Charlie Scott scored next, assisted by Jack Kivell and goalie DJ Gamble. Nice, crisp passes were the key to that goal. Charlie Scott also netted the next goal, assisted by Adam Gorman and Aaron Sadler. Then Aaron Sadler scored, assisted by Charlie Scott. The Capitals did manage to score two markers before the period ended.
