Still a Win in Many Ways!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Air-Tech Mechanical" Bantam Boys LL1 played the Shallow Lake Lakers on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at the Shallow Lake Arena.  The mighty Rebels were reduced to only nine players against thirteen for this match up.  The team knew that they needed to get off to a quick start and they DID just that!  Pearce Lacey scored with a hard shot at 7:39 in the first period, assisted by Adam Gorman and Avery Ash.

No other goals were scored in this period. 1 - 0 at the end of one.

Period two saw the Rebels in good control of the play.  Charlie Scott scored a nice goal on a pass from Pearce Lacey.  Charlie Scott would then score again before the end of the period, assisted by Dalan Frook and Pearce Lacey.  3 - 0 at the end of two.

The Rebels were extremely tired in period three, as was to be expected, and it showed.  The legs just were not there.  Shallow Lake scored their first goal of the game at 12:28.  They would add five more goals over the next ten minutes.  The Rebels dug deep and demonstrated their intestinal fortitude by scoring the final goal of the game.  Charlie Scott scored this goal, his third of the game, assisted by Adam Gorman.  Congratulations on a well deserved hat trick Charlie!!

Final Score:     Rebels 4,     Lakers  6

Congratulations Rebels!!  This was a win in many ways.  Two of the three periods were yours and you demonstrated great team work and excellent sportsmanship throughout the entire game.  Well done!!
