Curtis Wade returned to the Rebels after an injury on the basketball court sidelined him for the past three weeks. His teammates were happy to see him healthy and ready to play.
Charlie Scott started the scoring on a pass from Adam Gorman. Charlie Scott scored again with a beautiful move around the opponent's defenceman, after receiving the puck from Aaron Sadler. Saugeen Shores answered back with two goals of their own to finish the first period, all tied up. A new game!!
Period 2 proved to be exciting with Dalan Frook showing his ability to score, first on a pass from Charlie Scott and then with an unassisted effort.
Half-way through Period 3 is where the Rebels really gained momentum. Curtis Wade scored on a breakaway. Pearce Lacey scored on a nice pass from Aaron Sadler. Charlie Scott scored, assisted by Curtis Wade. Dalan Frook scored, assisted by Landon Heathers. Charlie Scott scored again, assisted by Curtis Wade. Dalan Frook scored again, assisted by Aaron Sadler and Landon Heathers.
