Vokes gets Double Hat Trick in Silver Stick play!
Abigail Vokes scored six times today in the Desboro Lion's club Atom Rebel C girls first two games of the Saugeen Shores Silver Stick! The Rebel girls worked hard this morning and came away with a 6-0 win over Bruce Peninsula.

The Rebel Atoms were pumped up for their game against Bruce Peninsula today in Southampton.  Brittany Rodgers also scored, assisted by Clare Vokes and Olivia Houston.  Grace Vokes got a shutout! Kloey Jex got the MVP award for the game and Summer Roney won the Pink Helmet from the team for the best effort.

Then it was on to the Port Elgin Plex for their game against Saugeen Shores at 5:15.  Port Elgin snuck one by Grace Vokes early in the first and then the Rebels poured it on.  Saugeen Shores scored again but Abby Vokes scored to hold them at 2-1.  Grace Vokes made some terrific saves and won the game MVP. Despite their hard work Saugeen scored twice more to make it 4-1. The team chose Abby Vokes to win the Pink Helmet for best effort.

Tomorrow the girls play Park Hill at 8:00 am. Good luck girls!
