Atom Rebel Girls Move on to Semi Finals with a Big win over Mount Forest
The Desboro Lion's Club Rebel Atom Girls beat Mount Forest 2-1 in an intense game this afternoon.  The Rebels will move on to the semi-finals of the Maroon Division tomorrow at 10:30.  They will face the Markdale Shooting Stars.

The Girls came into the game with a goal to work their hardest and give it their all.  They had lost to Mount Forest in all three previous match ups and they planned to turn that around!  The game went back and forth with the Rebels skating, passing and driving to the net.  Mount Forest was giving it right back to us. The first period ended and the game remained scoreless.  Abigail Vokes ended the tie by scoring in the second period.  Grace Vokes made countless great saves but Mount Forest was able to get one past her in the second to tie it up to 1-1.

In the last few minutes of the third Abigail Vokes fired one past the goalie to make it 2-1 for the Rebels.  The Chatsworth fans were on their feet.  The last few minutes were intense as Mount Forest called a time-out and then pulled their goalie.  The Rebels were able to hold them and will play in the semi-finals tomorrow at 10:30!  Come on out to the PLEX to cheer us on!
