The Desboro Lion's Club Atom Rebels played Arran-Elderslie in their last game of League play tonight. They defeated the Arran Elderslie team 6-1.
Grace Vokes took a night off playing net and had a great game on the ice. Cecily Mallette filled in as goalie for her first attempt at playing net. The Rebels got off to a quick start with Abigail Vokes scoring in the first 30 seconds assisted by Grace Scott and Jamie Gilchrist. Arran-Elderslie tied it up in the first with an unassisted goal by Savanna Sawyer. TCDMHA answered back quickly with a goal by Tara Meikle, assisted by Summer Roney. In the second period Abby Vokes scored two more goals to give her yet another hat-trick. An assist went to Kloey Jex. Tara Meikle scored again followed by a goal from the point by Jamie Gilchrist, assisted by Claire Vokes. Way to go girls!
