You win some you lose some....
The Desboro Lion's Club Atoms fell 5-1 Friday night against Mount Forest but were able to turn that around on Saturday in a 3-0 win over Bruce Peninsula.  Both games had been stormed out in the past week's rough weather.

Friday night the Rebels travelled to Mount Forest for an 8 pm game.  The Mount Forest team was able to score five goals before Abigail Vokes finally answered back with an unassisted goal late in the third period.  The girls were determined to not let that happen on Saturday!

Despite heavy snowfall again the teams made it to Desboro.  Abigail Vokes scored in the first period assisted by Jamie Gilchrist.  Then in the second Tara Meikle added another goal, assisted again by Jamie Gilchrist.  In the last period Abby Vokes got her third goal of the weekend, assisted by Summer Roney to make it 3-0 for the Rebels.  Despite many shots Bruce Peninsula was unable to score on Grace Vokes giving her another shut-out!  Great team work and effort ladies!!

Good luck with your upcoming playdown games!  The playdown schedule will be posted soon so be sure to come out and cheer us on!
