The Great Lakes Frame Company Township of Chatsworth Atom Rep Rebels took on the Owen Sound Attack Atom Select team at the Bayshore on Wednesday night.
There was some good end to end play and scoring chances for both teams. Josh Currie put one between the Attack pipes, assisted by Cory Rasmussen, to open the scoring and then Currie capped it off with the unassisted insurance goal to end the game 2-0 in favour of the Rebels. A big thank you to Owen Sound for hosting and a big thank you to the Owen Sound Attack (OHL) players who practiced before the game and took the time to acknowledge our players.
The Rebels seemed to tire quickly on the big ice surface, so we hope they are well rested and pick up the pace at Friday’s playoff game @ 6:45 in Lucknow.
