The Great Lakes Frame Company Township of Chatsworth Atom Rep Rebels are down in the WOAA Championship series 2 games to 1 after dropping game 3 to the Mount Forest Rams 3-1.
The Rebels came out hard with numerous shots in the first period, but they were unable to get one past the Rams goaltender. Early in the second, the Rams Kaleb Rice put one in the Rebels net to take the 1-0 lead. Unfortunately, the second and third periods saw both penalty boxes over-flowing and not a lot of shots. While on the penalty kill in the second period, the Rebels Wyatt Golem broke through the Rams power play and after a great deke tied the game 1-1.
Just past the halfway point of the third, poor communication in the Rebels end resulted in the go ahead goal being scored by the Rams Eric McLean and Michael Rice topped it off with the Rams insurance goal to end the game 3-1.
Rebels are in a must win situation in Mount Forest Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
