The
TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls HL faced off against the Mount
Forest Rams and were triumphant, with a final score of 7-3.
The Rebels controlled the game from the opening faceoff to the final buzzer. With plenty of offence and powerful defence, the Rebels kept notching their score higher while limiting scoring opportunities for the Rams.
Madison Barfoot played a spectacular game and earned herself a hat-trick. The Hesch sisters, Kylie and Kassie, teamed up on offence and each netted a goal. Tina Johnson put her mark on the board with a beautiful, breakaway goal. Mikaela Humphries put the biscuit in the basket in the 3rd period. Shaila Wellwood was incredible in net and made some truly breathtaking saves.
Assists were awarded to Mikaela Humphries, Kassie Hesch (2), Madison Barfoot (2), Grace Madill, and Kylie Hesch.
The Rebels are hitting the road for their next game against the Saugeen Shores Storm on Saturday February 23rd at 3:30pm in Southampton. GO REBELS!
