The
TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls HL is enjoying a bit of a
streak with three big wins. In their
Feb. 23rd game against the Saugeen Shores Storm, the Rebels posted a
6-1 victory. In back to back games
against the Mt. Forest Rams, the Rebels took both wins, 11-1 and 5-0.
The Rebels travelled to Southampton on February 23rd to face off against the Saugeen Shores Storm. The girls played splendidly and posted a big win. Tina Johnson netted four goals in the match with Madison Barfoot and Keira McMann adding singles to the board. Assists were awarded to Miss Johnson (2), Miss Barfoot (3), and Ally Dunn.
In back to back matches against the Mt. Forest Rams, the Rebels came to win, and win they did! On Friday March 1st, the Rebels defeated the Rams 11-1. The Rebels shared the glory on the scoreboard with Tina Johnson, Austin Ceaser, and Madison Barfoot each netting a pair. Wren Jones, Grace Madill, Kylie Hesch, Mikaela Humphries, and Ally Dunn added singles. In the March 4th match, the Rebels won 5-0 with Tina Johnson putting the puck in the net for four goals and Kylie Hesch adding a single. Shaila Wellwood was absolutely glorious between the pipes for the Rebels and earned another shutout.
The Rebels will be looking to close their season on a high note when they host the Walkerton Capitals in their final regular season game on home ice in Keady on Saturday March 9th at 11 AM. GO REBELS!
