The
TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls HL finished the regular season
like they started it – with a big 7-4 win over the Walkerton Capitals!
The Rebels dominated the game from the opening face-off to the final buzzer and kept piling the goals in. Madison Barfoot opened the scoring for the Rebels assisted by Ally Dunn and Rachel Sweiger. Then Miss Dunn sniped one from the point and put it on the top shelf where Momma keeps the cookies. Austin Ceaser found the back on the net late in the 2nd assisted by Miss Barfoot. The 3rd period belonged to Tina Johnson who scored four in the 3rd, one unassisted and the other three assisted by Miss Barfoot, Grace Madill, and Mikaela Humphries.
With this win, the Rebels claimed top spot in their loop in the regular season! The girls played incredibly well all season and they should be thrilled with their success! The Rebels will play again at the year-end tournament at the end of March (schedule and venues TBA). GREAT JOB GIRLS! GO REBELS!
