A Lot of Scoring in Period Two!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantam Local League Team played The Kincardine Kinucks LL1 on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. The game started at 8:15 p.m. which was a new experience for the team and their fans.
Rebel's goalie DJ Gamble was tested early and often during Period One and he rose to the challenge. At 7:27 Kincardine scored the ONLY goal of the period.
The Rebels got on the board in Period Two when Adam Gorman scored a beauty at 13:11. This result was created by the effective assistance of Avery Ash and Dillon Fry. The score remained tied for the next five minutes, with both teams trying their best to make offensive plays while maintaining their defence. Kincardine scored at 7:59, 6:18, and then again at 4:40. Adam Gorman was not finished yet and scored his second goal of the game at 3:57, unassisted. Two minutes later, the Kinucks scored again. The score was 5 - 2 at the end of the period. It was a difficult period to be a goalie.
Kincardine kept the upper hand in Period Three despite some solid defensive poke checks and positioning by the defensive players Layne Edwards, Maverick Lacey, Makeleyn Moore, Jamie Norman, Dillon Fry, and Ethen Blakey. Kincardine scored three goals during this period.
