Third Period Strength
The Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" Pewee Boys LL played the Owen Sound Jr. Attack LL#2 on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Keady Arena. Ethen Blakey was in net for the Rebels and he would get put to the test over the course of three periods of play. Ethen stood tall and kept the Attack on their toes and he kept the Rebels in the game.
Period one was exciting and fast paced with both teams working hard to control the puck and set up scoring opportunities. The period ended scoreless.
Period two was a different story. Owen Sound scored in the first shift. Andersen McComb tied things up with 8:05 left in the period, assisted by Aiden Callahan-Cummins on a rush that began with Maverick Lacey. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored the next goal, assisted by Jordan Brown and Maverick Lacey. The Attack finished the period with two more goals to lead the game 3 - 2.
The Rebels regrouped during the flood and came out stronger in period three. Jackson Greig scored a great goal on a beautiful set-up by Aiden Callahan-Cummins to tie the game up. Aiden Callahan-Cummins would then secure the go-ahead point with a quick breakaway goal. The Rebels finished things off with another goal in the last minute of play. Jackson Greig scored, assisted by Andersen McComb and Maverick Lacey.
