Period Two Was a Tough One!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" Pewee Boys LL played host to the Shallow Lake Lakers on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018. This was the seventh playoff game for the Rebels. Both teams were looking for a win.
Period one started out well. Trevor McCarthy scored the first goal of the game at 8:43, assisted by Maverick Lacey. Shallow Lake quickly answered back. At 5:40 Andersen McComb regained the lead for the Rebels, assisted by Aiden Callahan-Cummins. Shallow Lake scored again before the end of the period to tie the game up at two goals apiece.
The second period was not so good for the Rebels. It was a tough one. Shallow Lake came on strong and scored three goals within six minutes. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored for the Rebels, before the end of the period, assisted by Ethen Blakey. The score was now 5 - 3.
Try as they might, the Rebels were held scoreless during period three. Shallow Lake scored the only goal of period three with 2:24 remaining.
Final Score: Rebels 3, Lakers 6
