Another Successful Sunday!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" Pewee Boys LL played the Bruce Peninsula Predators on Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at the Keady Arena. It was Javier Koeslag's turn to be between the pipes and he demonstrated that this is where he loves to be, making a number of key saves over the course of three periods of play. The Rebels started the scoring with 6:32 left on the clock in period one. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored from a difficult angle.
Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored again, assisted by Sam Potter and Zander Kirk.
Period two began with a pretty even match up between the teams. The Rebels put lots of pressure on the Predators. About the half-way mark, Jackson Greig scored, assisted by Ethen Blakey. The Predators scored their only goal of the game with 3:12 left in period two. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored for a third time, assisted by Ivan Romanowich. Four to one at the end of period two.
Period three belonged to the Rebels. This was a dream come true for the Rebels who have been trying to improve their period three play!! Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored again, assisted by Jimmy Couch and Robert LaFond. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored for his fifth and final time of the game, assisted by Maverick Lacey.
Sam Potter scored the next goal in the game, assisted by Andersen McComb and Jackson Greig. Ethen Blakey scored a nice goal, the final goal of the game, on a solid pass from Aiden Callahan-Cummins; a play that originated from Zander Kirk.
Final Score: Rebels 8, Predators 1
