A Tough Week End in Kincardine for the Barry's Construction Pewee Boys LL
The Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" Pewee Boys LL played in Kincardine this past Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's game saw the Rebels face off against Kincardine LL#1.
The first period was scoreless with both Ethan Blakey and Kincardine's goalie making some great saves. Kincardine scored 4 goals in the second period but were held scoreless in the third period with Ethan Blakey making some more exciting saves. The Rebels scored 2 goals in the third period. The first was netted by Jordan Brown on a pass from Sheldon Rodger. The second goal was scored by Sam Potter.
Sunday's game was against Kincardine LL#2. Javier Koeslag was in net for the Rebels and he made some really great saves, and showed his talent with his glove. This Kincardine team had a lot of speed and size. Kincardine scored 3 goals in period one, two goals in period 2 and three goals in period 3. The Rebels scored two goals in period 3. The first goal was by Zander Kirk, assisted by Maverick Lacey. The second goal was by Sam Potter.
