Golem went out and scored 5 goals in the Jennifer Tedford Remax Midget C Rebels
8-1 win over the Saugeen Shores HL team on Saturday.
The Rebels first goal was a point shot from Grace Kuhl that Golem tipped up and over the goalie. Minutes later, Golem would bury the rebound from a shot by Kyla Thalen. That would be all the scoring the Rebels needed, but they weren’t done yet. This is what the scoresheet read when all was said and done:
Goal #3: Shot by Kuhl, Thalen with the rebound.
Goal #4: Kyla from behind the net to Kuhl to Golem
Goal# 5: D to D pass from Renee Farrow to Carly Acton who fired a shot from the point five-hole for her first goal of the season
Goal #6: Renee to Skylar
Goal #7: Golem to Kuhl
Goal #8: Thalen to Golem
The girls will look to keep the offence rolling when they take on the Kincardine C team in exhibition play on Friday night.
