The Jennifer Tedford Remax Midget C Rebels, led by
Skylar Golem, had a 5-goal offensive outburst in the third period to down the Midget
HL Lucknow Sepoys 6-0.
Grace Kuhl got the Rebels on the board in the first when AP Lindsay Elliot dumped it into the corner for Golem who centered it in front of the net to Kuhl who was waiting to bury the puck in the back of the Lucknow net.
The score would remain 1-0 for the remainder of the first period and all of the second. The Rebels turned it up a notch in the third with Kuhl returning the favour and setting up Golem on back to back goals 13 seconds apart. Golem would complete the hat trick just 1:16 later, assists going to Madison Vokes and Renee Farrow.
The Rebels would add two more in the period with Kuhl picking up her second of the game; assists to Sam DeJong and Brittany Batterman. With the game drawing to a close, goalie Hannah Mustard dumped the puck behind her net for Vokes who carried the puck through everyone, all the way up the ice, flipping it up and over the goalie, hitting the cross bar and in.
When she wasn't setting up goals, Mustard was busy preventing them, earning her third shutout of the season.
