2-14-15 - RAMS 3 - REBELS 2
The ScotiaBank PeeWee HL Girls traveled to Mt. Forest on this blustery Valentine’s Day and played to the last second but were unable to tie the game up.

The First period was a duel, our goalie Carly Juby was on her game between the pipes and didn’t let anything past her but neither did the Mt. Forest goalie, so the period ended 0-0.

In period two, Mt. Forest was first on the scoreboard.  Period three was full of shooting, blocking and skating!  Mt. Forest was the first to make a goal but our Grace Scott was the one to put the Rebels on the board with a beauty shot assisted by Brooklyn Mole and Natalie Mole.  Mt. Forest quickly retaliated with a goal of their own making the score 3 – 1.  With little time left, Sara Boulter scored one for the Rebels, assisted by Taylor Legge, making the score 3 – 2, the Rebels kept skating and shooting, right up to the buzzer but just couldn’t tie it up.

The girl’s next game is Saturday, February 21st in Keady at 3:00pm, against Kincardine, come on out and cheer them on!

The PeeWee HL Girls wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day and Fun Family Day!!

SCOTIA BANK
The Community Hockey Sponsorship program has always been Scotiabank’s way of showing our commitment to kids’ hockey, a sport which unifies our nation, community by community. That’s why each of our more than 1,000 branches financially supports a local hockey team, league or association in their community. We know that being part of a team gives children more than just a chance to play, but also a chance to become involved in their community. That’s why we’re encouraging our branch staff and sponsored teams to donate their time – the equivalent to one practice – towards making a positive impact in their community. By inspiring and participating in volunteer initiatives, we’re committed to help communities get stronger together, like a team. Because that’s what Canada is all about. Throughout the year we’ll be recognizing and celebrating teams across the country with unique hockey experiences like visits from NHL Alumni or the Stanley Cup!
