WHERE DID THE SEASON GO, FINAL HOME GAME FOR PeeWee HL Girls
The ScotiaBank PeeWee HL Girls team hosted Kincardine Tuesday night at the Keady Arena, but in spite of their awesome efforts, they couldn’t come away with the win.

Tonight’s game was a well-played and evenly matched.  Kincardine thought that they could just walk away with the win, but soon found out that if they wanted to win they had to fight for it.  The first period was exciting, both teams taking many shots on the goalies, but neither goalies was giving in, so ending the first period at 0 – 0.  Period two was the same but even know our goalie, Carly Juby made some pretty awesome saves between the pipes, Kincardine slipped 3 past her.  And that was the end of period two and the end of Kincardine’s scoring.  Period three was much the same, both teams shooting, passing, skating but Carly was done with any pucks in her net and the Kincardine goalie was having nothing in hers either.  With only 16 seconds left in the game Brooklyn Mole took off down the ice with a perfect pass by Janna Wardell and netted the puck perfectly in Kincardine’s net!!  Ending the game with a 3 – 1 score.  The Girls are at it again Saturday Morning in Mount Forest at 11:00 am to battle with the Rams, Good Luck Ladies!!

SCOTIA BANK
The Community Hockey Sponsorship program has always been Scotiabank’s way of showing our commitment to kids’ hockey, a sport which unifies our nation, community by community. That’s why each of our more than 1,000 branches financially supports a local hockey team, league or association in their community. We know that being part of a team gives children more than just a chance to play, but also a chance to become involved in their community. That’s why we’re encouraging our branch staff and sponsored teams to donate their time – the equivalent to one practice – towards making a positive impact in their community. By inspiring and participating in volunteer initiatives, we’re committed to help communities get stronger together, like a team. Because that’s what Canada is all about. Throughout the year we’ll be recognizing and celebrating teams across the country with unique hockey experiences like visits from NHL Alumni or the Stanley Cup!
