SCOTIABANK PeeWe Girls Double Capitals
The ScotiaBank PeeWee HL Girls wrangled with the Walkerton Capitals on Tuesday night and came out with the win of 2 to 1.

It was a very evenly matched and exciting game but the Rebel girls where determined, and persistent, and it paid off.

The Rebels where the first on the score board with a goal made by Brooklyn Mole, assisted by Grace Scott.  The Capitals did not like that and slipped one past our goalie Jadzia Leask but that was enough of that and Jadzia would not let anymore pucks in her net.

The second period started with a 1 – 1 tie and it would stay that way until Brooklyn Mole made her second goal of the game assisted by Kristen Hamelin and Grace Scott, for her second assist of the game.

In Period 3 both the Capitals and the Rebels tried their absolute best to get more goals but both goalies where not letting that happen which made for a very exciting ending to an awesome game!

The girls are in Mt. Forest on Saturday at 1:30 pm to lock horns with the Mt. Forest Rams, Good Luck Ladies!!

SCOTIA BANK
The Community Hockey Sponsorship program has always been Scotiabank’s way of showing our commitment to kids’ hockey, a sport which unifies our nation, community by community. That’s why each of our more than 1,000 branches financially supports a local hockey team, league or association in their community. We know that being part of a team gives children more than just a chance to play, but also a chance to become involved in their community. That’s why we’re encouraging our branch staff and sponsored teams to donate their time – the equivalent to one practice – towards making a positive impact in their community. By inspiring and participating in volunteer initiatives, we’re committed to help communities get stronger together, like a team. Because that’s what Canada is all about. Throughout the year we’ll be recognizing and celebrating teams across the country with unique hockey experiences like visits from NHL Alumni or the Stanley Cup!
