TEAM WORK, CONSISTENT EFFORT... just no breaks
The ScotiaBank PeeWee HL girls battled Kincardine on their home ice on Saturday Jan 31 but lost 6 – 2.

The Girls were on their game from the very beginning and skated hard and kept trying to get one past Kincardine’s goalie, and where rewarded for their efforts when Brooklyn Mole took off on her break away and scored one for the Rebels unassisted.  Kincardine tried to get one of their own goals and after many, many shots on our Goalie Jadzia Leask, they were successful with only 1:08 left in the first period.

The second period started the same, quick and fast, the girls where on a mission, and the Rebels got their second goal by Sara Boulter assisted by Aubrey Urbshott, making the score now 2-1.

The girls continued on their mission and showed some pretty amazing team work but they just couldn’t catch a break despite their constant efforts.

The Girls are back in Keady for their next game against the Mount Forest Rams on Saturday February 07 at 3:00pm, and they are ready, go get ‘em Rebels!

SCOTIA BANK
The Community Hockey Sponsorship program has always been Scotiabank’s way of showing our commitment to kids’ hockey, a sport which unifies our nation, community by community. That’s why each of our more than 1,000 branches financially supports a local hockey team, league or association in their community. We know that being part of a team gives children more than just a chance to play, but also a chance to become involved in their community. That’s why we’re encouraging our branch staff and sponsored teams to donate their time – the equivalent to one practice – towards making a positive impact in their community. By inspiring and participating in volunteer initiatives, we’re committed to help communities get stronger together, like a team. Because that’s what Canada is all about. Throughout the year we’ll be recognizing and celebrating teams across the country with unique hockey experiences like visits from NHL Alumni or the Stanley Cup!
