JUBY EARNS SHUTOUT AGAINST MUSTANGS
The ScotiaBank PeeWee HL Girls faced the Upper Maitland Mustangs Saturday afternoon and won the battle 2-0.

The first period was a back and forth scrimmage with neither goalies letting anything in their nets.

In period two, Taylor Legge finds the hole and scores for the Rebels assisted by Aubrey Urbshott and Natalie Mole

In period three Taylor Legge found the sweet spot again and scored the final goal of the game assisted by Sara Boulter.  The Mustangs tried their best to get something past goalie, Carly Juby but she was on her game between the pipes, and got her first shut out of the season.

The girls finished up the game by signing Happy Birthday to our top scorer of the game, Taylor Legge!!  The next game for these ladies is on January 31, 2015 on their home ice in Keady at 3:00 pm, come out and cheer them on against their rivals, the Kincardine Kinucks.

SCOTIA BANK
The Community Hockey Sponsorship program has always been Scotiabank’s way of showing our commitment to kids’ hockey, a sport which unifies our nation, community by community. That’s why each of our more than 1,000 branches financially supports a local hockey team, league or association in their community. We know that being part of a team gives children more than just a chance to play, but also a chance to become involved in their community. That’s why we’re encouraging our branch staff and sponsored teams to donate their time – the equivalent to one practice – towards making a positive impact in their community. By inspiring and participating in volunteer initiatives, we’re committed to help communities get stronger together, like a team. Because that’s what Canada is all about. Throughout the year we’ll be recognizing and celebrating teams across the country with unique hockey experiences like visits from NHL Alumni or the Stanley Cup!
