WADE GETS THIRD HAT TRICK OF THE SEASON AND REBELS COME HOME WITH A WIN!
The Township of Chatsworth Xtreme Heating Peewee LL #1 travelled to Southampton Saturday afternoon to face off against the Saugeen Shores Storm.

The Rebels played a strong first period but with 5:49 left Saugeen Shores Storm slipped the puck into the Rebels net. Even though the first period did not play out to the Rebels advantage, this was a game worth watching.

With some nice defence plays and great teamwork, both teams held their own in the second period with no goals being scored.

The third period is when the Rebels kicked it into high gear. After being off from an injury, it was Wyatt Golem’s first game of the season and he came out in full force.  Golem net the Rebels first two goals of the game within the first five minutes of the period. Liam Harrison got the assist for the first goal and Clayton Kreuger got the assist to Golem’s second goal.  With 8:34 left Wesley Houston put another goal up on the scoreboard for the Rebels.  Curtis Wade got the assist.  Position changes were made this game and it seemed to be working for the Rebels.  With a quick assisted pass from Golem, Charlie Scott took the puck and forced it into the Storms net with 8:09 left. The Storm came back with a quick rebound and net a goal.  With seven minutes left in the game Curtis Wade came down the ice and shot a hard unassisted goal into the back of the Storms net.  With yet another quick rebound, the Storm scored their final goal.  At 3:44 Curtis Wade net his second goal of the game with the assists going to Wesley Houston and Wyatt Golem.  With another fast pass from Houston and thirteen seconds left in the game, Wade took the puck from Houston and net the Rebels final goal of the game.

Rebels came out on top with a 7-3 win!

The next game for the Rebels will be Sunday December 7th at 1:00 p.m. in Keady when they play against the Minto Mad Dogs.
