The Township of Chatsworth Peewee LL #1 travelled to Mt.
Forest Saturday to play the Rams. The game did not play to the Rebels advantage
as they lost to the Rams 9-5.
The Rebels were able to keep the Rams from putting themselves up on the scoreboard until five minutes left in the first period when the Rams scored their first goal of the game. The Rams were able to get two more quick goals on the Rebels, but with one minute left in the period, Charlie Scott passed the puck to Wyatt Golem and he was able to shoot the puck into the back of the Rams net, putting the Rebels up on the board.
Two minutes into the second period Wesley Houston scored for the Rebels with the assists going to Clayton Kreuger and Curtis Wade. The rest of the second period seemed to unfortunately go downhill for the Rebels as the Rams were able to net four more goals.
The Rebels tried to make a comeback in the third period. With one minute in, Curtis Wade had a breakaway up the ice and shot the puck pass the Rams goalie into the back of their net. Two minutes later Wade took a pass from Wesley Houston and scored again. The Rams were maybe feeling a little pressure from the Rebels and stepped up their game even more scoring another goal with seven minutes left. Less than a minute later Jack Kivell pushed through the Rams and scored an unassisted goal for the Rebels. That was the end of the goals for the Rebels but not the Rams. They scored with three minutes left in the game......
