The TCDMHA "Xtreme Heating" Peewee
LL#1 team started off their WOAA playoffs with a bang on Sunday morning,
beating Kincardine LL#2 by a convincing score of 8-1.
Wyatt Golem would open the scoring less than two minutes into the first period, using his lightning fast speed to break away from the defenders and fire the puck past the Kincardine goalie.
1-0 is where the score stood at the end of the first, but the Rebels, led by Curtis Wade, opened up the floodgates in the second period, scoring 5 unanswered goals. They would add another two goals in the third. Scoring went as follows:

The Kinucks would add the final goal on a power play late in the third, breaking Jason MacLeod's shutout bid. Shame on a certain assistant coach (who shall remain nameless) for jinxing him and saying the "S" word in the dressing room!

Hopefully the team can carry "Big Mo" (momentum) with them into their game versus Kincardine #1 on Wednesday night!
