UP AND DOWN PLAYOFF ACTION FOR THE REBELS
The Township of Chatsworth Xtreme Heating Peewee LL #1 had a busy week of playoff action.

Here is how the games played out:

Game 1: The Rebels hosted the Kincardine Kinucks #1 and came up short with a game score of 3-2.

With 3:20 left in the first period Curtis Wade opened the game, scoring for the Rebels.  Our AP Abby Vokes earned the assist. It was end to end plays in the second period with no goals being scored.

In the third period Abby Vokes and Curtis Wade partnered in a play again only this time Abby scored the goal and Curtis earned the assist.  It wasn’t without effort in this game. Our team gave it their all and played a really good game but came up short…….Kincardine scored three goals in the third period.   A BIG THANKS to our AP Abby Vokes for coming to help us out with the game.

Game 2:  The Rebels travelled to Kincardine to play their final round robin playoff game with the Kinucks #1.  It was a tough loss of 6-1.

The Kinucks opened the game scoring with 1:49 left in the first. With passes from Wyatt Golem and Jack Kivell, Charlie Scott scored a nice goal in the top of the net.  Even though the first period played out well that was it for the Rebels. The Kinucks scored four goals in the second period and one goal in the third.

Game 3:  The Rebels hosted the Kincardine Kinucks #2 with a victory of 6-2.

A quick seven seconds into the game and Curtis Wade net an unassisted goal.  The Rebels scored two more goals in the first period. Jack Kivell scored and the assist went to Charlie Scott. Clayton Kreuger scored and the assist went to Wesley Houston.  During the second period Wyatt Golem took a pass from Charlie Scott and scored with 7:40 left.  The Kinucks snuck one in the Rebels net with 4: 45 left. Six seconds remained in the second period and with a pass from Clayton Kreuger and Charlie Scott, Wyatt Golem scored again.  With 13:21 left in the third period Curtis Wade took a pass from Lorenzo Pedro and scored the Rebels final goal of the game. With a quick follow up the Kinucks net their final goal of the game.
