The Township of Chatsworth Xtreme Heating PeeWee LL #1
travelled to Tara Monday night and played an undefeated game against the
AEMHA Ice Dogs.
The Rebels opened the game with four minutes left in the second period. Clayton Kreuger net the first goal with quick assisting from Hunter Courtney and Wesley Houston.
The third period brought the Rebels three more goals. Wesley Houston scored an unassisted goal at 14:52. The Ice Dogs were giving all they had and were able to put one in the net with 8:38 left. The Rebels were out on strong force and were not going to let the Ice Dogs get the upper hand. Wesley Houston was on his game this period. He net a nice goal at 3:27 with the assist going to Rebels defense Charlie Scott. With adrenaline in the air and 1:48 left in the game, Curtis Wade slipped the puck pass the Ice Dogs goalie scoring the final goal of the game with Charlie Scott getting the assist.
The Ice Dogs tried hard to up their score with shots on the Rebels net, but goalie warrior Jason Rudolph-MacLeod kept that from happening.
It was a nice 4-1 win for the Rebels!
