Tough loss for REBELS
The Township of Chatsworth Xtreme Heating PeeWee LL#1 faced off against the Kincardine Kinucks LL #1 Friday evening at the Keady arena.
With end to end plays the Rebels put up a good battle against the Kinucks with no goals being scored by the end of the first period.
The Rebels put forth great efforts during the second period, but with 6:23 left Kinucks scored their first goal of the game, followed with another goal at 6:02. Our boys fought back hard but Kincardine managed to score again with 2:45 left.
Even though Kincardine scored two more goals in the first half of the third period, our boys did not back down. With 2:51 left, Charlie Scott scored the Rebels first goal unassisted. Shortly after, Liam Harrison net a goal at 2:11. The assists went to Lorenzo Pedro and Wesley Houston.
Final game score: 5-2.
The Rebels came up short in the end but they did not give up and showed team determination!
Rebels will be playing their next game Monday November 10th against the AEMHA Ice Dogs in Tara at 7:00 p.m.
