Rebels Eliminated from OMHA's
The Air Tech Mechanical Rebels were eliminated from the OMHA playdowns after suffering a 4-3 defeat to the Shallow Lake Lakers.
After a scoreless 1st period the two teams combined for 5 goals in the 2nd. The Rebels opened the scoring after Owen (from Reid) was able to put one behind the Laker keeper. The Lakers tied the score before Brandon (Reid, Brett) put the Rebels back into the lead. Again the Lakers battled back to tie the game. Owen (Carson, Reid) was able to restore the Rebel lead heading into the 2nd period break. The Lakers would score twice in the 3rd with the Rebels unable to get the tying goal in the dying minutes of the game.
