Bantams start WOAA Playoffs with a Win
The Air Tech Mechanical Bantams won their opening WOAA Gregg Division playoff game with a 3-1 victory over the Hanover Falcons.
Mitch opened the scoring 8:46 into the first period when he converted Cody's pass on a 2 on 1. Just 27 seconds later Branson buried Mitch's rebound to give the Rebels a 2-0 lead. Alex one timed a pass from Owen high in the slot with just 14 seconds remaining in the second period to give the boys a 3-0 lead heading into the third. The only goal in the third came from Hanover's Travis Campbell when he spoiled Ty's shutout bid with just 1:29 left in the game.
