Busy Week for Rebel Peewee Girls with a Tie and a Loss
The TCDMHA Xtreme Heating Rebel C Girls had a tie and a loss this week. On
Tuesday night we hosted Upper Maitland for an exhibition game. Zoe Schriek
scored her first goal of the season by picking up Jayden Thalen's rebound. Upper
Maitland had scored just before that so that made it a tied game.
The Rebels kept up the hard work but could not put another one in the net to end the game in a tie.
On Saturday the Rebels travelled to Lucknow to face the Lucknow Peewee C Girls.
The first period was a hard paced end to end game that ended with no score. Jaclyn Beirnes made lots of great saves. In the second period Lucknow scored early. The Rebel girls battled back but were unable to score. Lucknow was able to get four more unanswered goals on them.
Despite the score the girls worked hard and encouraged each other. Good luck on Saturday when we will host Lucknow in a rematch in Keady at 4:00.
