In the second the scoring was opened by the Storm with 2 quick goals. The Rebels bounced back and scored at the 4:55 mark to cut the lead in half. Easton Croft netted a beauty, unassisted. Game 2: Dorchester V.S TCDMHA Rebels
Very exciting game to watch as all the kids gave it their best. Danny Wallis took the job in net for the first time in his young hockey career and played stellar. Rebels came out strong. At puck drop Cody Cook won the draw and worked his way into Dorchesters end, deaking out the defense and the goaltender to open the scoring. End to end action during the entire game exchanging goals. Cole Hall skated the puck in and wristed a shot at the net, Easton Croft buried the rebound to stay on top. In the Third Cook scored again to stay on top. Mean while Danny took many chances away from the excellent puck carriers of Dorchester by making the save and snuggling the puck eliminating second chances. With a few minutes left in the game Dorchester responded with the tying goal. 3-3 the score forced this game to a shoot out!! Danny Debuting in net stops 2 out of three shooters and Cole Hall and Cody Cook scored to take the game 4-3. Rebels eliminate Dochester and Continue to Sunday against the Shallow Lake Lakers 1. Danny Wins the Shootout and the MVP-hard to beat that one!

Game 3: Rebels against Shallow Lake Lakers 1
The kids were excited to scrimmage again today, after giving up a quick goal in the first minute of the game, Rebels took control. There was one small obstacle that kept this one close. Laker net minder Sean Nicol came up with save after save and made you wonder if they were ever going to score. Finally at the mid point of the second Cody Cook solved the problem and found an opening, tying the game up at ones. This one looked like it was heading for a shootout, but the hockey gods were with us.  Dylan Harris played the puck ahead to Croft who then lifted the disc towards the goalie which created a juicy rebound for Cook to tap in his 4th of the tounament. With once drive left in the game, Danny had to stretch out to the post to make a great save and earn them a trip to B final. This one ended 2-1 and Cole Hall earned the MVP for this game.

Game 4: AYR Flames Vs. TCDMHA Rebels

Proud of our REBELS for gettimg this far. This was a good skating team. Ayr drew first at the 4 minute mark of the first. Goaltending was solid for Ayr and Danny made some stellar saves as well but a few more chances by the opponent created another goal to the lead. After a few more goals in the third, the rebels were down 4 but they gave all they had. Cole Hall rips one top corner to deny the shutout. Rebels ran out of time to catch up in this one ending 1-4. Congrats to the Ayr Flames for a well played game. MVP awarded to Dylan Harris.
