Rebels and Lakers Battle Again on Home Territory
After eliminating Shallow Lake Lakers in the Tournament on the weekend, they squared off again Wednesday night.  Lakers came out with something to prove and the Rebels were feeling pretty confident awaiting the puck to drop.

There was a lot of action in this one as the goaltenders made save after save to keep the score even. At the mid point of the second Shallow lake found a bit of room to skate and took advantage of the opportunity finding the net behind Easton Croft. Many chances for the Rebels to tie it up but the sea of yellow and Sean Nicol kept the puck out of the net.
With 2 and a half minutes left to play, Rebels kept the pressure on in the opponents end. Conner Thede dug out the puck on the boards, Simon Potter picked it up and passed it to Cole Hall who wristed it towards the net, a few deflections off the defense and Jhett McKee (who was in front of the net) managed to freeze the netminder and the puck find the mesh. The goal was awarded to Jhett McKee, assisted by Cole Hall and Simon Potter
After a few more great chances at either end of the ice this one remained locked up 1-1. Very well matched teams and entertaining for all the fans.
Last Home game of the season is this Sunday at 1:30 against the Storm 5. Come out and cheer the boys on.
