Rebels Home Opener Entertains Fans With a Win
White jersey's were worn for the first time this season, as the rink filled up with supportive fans. Rebels extended their winning streak to three today as they claimed a victory against AEMHA Ice Dogs.
Cook opened the scoring in the second period with a feed from Conner Thede. Minutes later Simon Potter found the back of the net with a blistering shot from the point. Rebels led the game 2-0 after the second. With many offensive chances by the Rebels in the third, Ice Dogs Goalie (Hurst) stood tall. In the other end Croft came up with timely saves which protected the lead giving our Rebels the victory.
