Horton's Concrete Novice LL#2 found themselves down by one in the first but created many great chances.
Ben Hall with the goal and Alex Jacklin with the assist for Saugeen Shores. Back to back action in the second kept both goalies on their game. Trevor McCarthy came up with some timely saves and his defense helped clear the puck when needed.
One goal in the second was shoveled in the net by Saugeen Shores Alex Jacklin, after Ben Hall and Dawson Thorton set up the play. A few great chances by Dylan Harris and Conner Thede kept the fans in it.
The Rebels came alive in the third and kept the puck in Saugeen's zone most of the period. Easton Croft won the draw in our end banked the puck up twice by the defense and skated off with the puck. He headed to the net and shot glove side top corner to collect his first goal as a Rebel. Cole Hall(defense) created many great chances. Unfortunately the Rebels fell short on the scoreboard 3-1 but ended on a strong note.
