Split Back to Back Road games with a WIN and a LOSS
The Jennifer Tedford Remax Midget girls C team were on the road with back to back playdown games this week and came home with a loss & a win.

The Walkerton Capitals hosted the Rebels Tuesday night.  The first period was quite even with shots on net and this game could have gone either way.  Good effort by all the girls but the Capitals were able to get one past us in the 1st.
Rebels goalie Ceaira Hiemstra had a busy night as the Capitals came on strong in the 2nd & 3rd periods taking 2 more goals.
Grace Kuhl took a pass from Grace Stephen and carried the puck past everyone and put the Rebels on the board in the 3rd.   Unfortunately that would be the only goal of the night for the Rebels, losing to Walkerton 3-1.

The Jennifer Tedford Remax Midget girls were looking for a win heading into Teeswater late Wednesday night.  The South Bruce Blades scored early in the 1st but the Rebels were not interested in playing catch up this game.  Renee Farrow scored with some help by Grace Kuhl & Skylar Golem tying it up 1-1.
The Rebels were eager to take the lead and spent the 2nd period in the Blades end out shooting their opponent and it paid off as Kuhl popped in the 2nd goal (assist by Mikkayla Longland & Sarah Bryans).
Early in the 3rd Carlie Cook took a pass from Longland and Grace Stephens and with determination gave us a 3-1 lead.
South Bruce, with a short bench, didn't back down keeping Rebels goalie Ceaira Hiemstra on her toes, but she was able to close the door on the Blades.
With their goalie pulled with more than 2 minutes left in the 3rd, Peyton McCauley was able to get a nice shot on the empty net and sealed the deal on this win, Rebels take it 4-1- great work girls!
Our last playdown game is back on home ice Saturday morning as we host West Grey - good luck ladies, let's go for another "W"!
