The Jennifer Tedford Remax Midget Girls C team travelled to Teeswater on Monday night to meet up with the South Bruce Blades. With a short bench tonight, the girls knew they hard to work hard to take this game.
It was back and forth action in the first period, but South Bruce was able to start the scoring with the first period ending 1-0.
The Rebels came back in the second tying it up with a goal from Brittany Batterman, assists going to Mikkayla Longland and Ashlyn Mackison.
The Blades took the lead early in the 3rd making the Rebels work hard to come back. Astelle Wardell tied it up with the help of Lillian Harshman. With the game tied at 2-2, both the teams were anxious for this win. Unfortunately the Blades got past us and scored late in the 3rd making the final score 3-2.
