First Playdown game is a Win!!
The Chatsworth Leigon Branch 464 PeeWee C girls had their first OWHA Playdown game tonight in Keady.

The Rebels had a win on home ice against the South Bruce Blades.  Once again the girls were quick to get on the score board with Abby Vokes scoring early in the first unassisted.  There was a lot of back and fourth play against the Blades but finally Jessica Davidson was able to sink on in the net assisted by Kloey Jex.  The Rebels were shooting lots on the South Bruce goalie and she was strong in her net but Georgia Rutter was able to get another goal assisted by Jex and Davidon.  The girls were not finished as Summer Roney scored late in the second assisted by Rutter.  It was on to the third period where we were able to get one more goal scored by Emily Meuser assisted by Rutter and Roney. The girls did have to play defensive for the rest of the third as South Bruce was pushing hard to get a goal but Grace Vokes was able to keep the net clean for the Shut-Out and get the win of 5-0.

The girls are back in action on Saturday in Keady in a regular season game against Bruce Peninsula at 4:30.
