4th and Final Win in Playdowns!!

The Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 PeeWee C girls just played their final game for playdowns tonight and sealed it with a WIN!

The Last game for these ladies was against the Grey Highland Shooting Stars.  The game was back and fourth and the first period went past with no goals!  Before we knew it the second period was gone again with no goals.  There was many chances for the Rebels to score but the Markdale goaltender Miranda Campbell was keeping the net clean for the Stars.  Finally not long into the second Tara Meikle was able to get one in the net assisted by Kloey Jex.  It wasn't long after that Jex added a second goal assisted by Emma MacDonnell.  Grace Vokes was able to keep the net clean to earn the shut out for the game.

The girls are now in first place in the provincial Playdown in their group with 4 wins (8 points) and are off to provincials!!! They couldn't of done it with out all the Coaches and Fans cheering them on and most of all team mate Georgia Rutter cheering on the bench healing and the team will be happy to have her back soon!!  Thanks from all the girls.
