REBELS TAKE GAME 4 . . . and MOVE ON TO ROUND 2
The 'Harold Sutherland Construction' PEEWEE REP boys took control of Game 4 and finished off the series with the Bruce Peninsula Predators this morning in Keady.

With their home ice advantage, the Rebels were eager to end the series today.
Jason Rudolph-MacLeod defended his net with his own unique style that left his team able to focus on their offence.

Alex DeJong muscled his way down the ice, moving the puck in towards the Predators net and Jake Moran got in place to send the rebound home at 3:24.
Just over 30 seconds later Alex found the back of the net himself, with the assistance of Curtis Wade and Jake.

Alex started off the 2nd period with another goal assisted by Jake and Curtis at 14:39 ... and then found themselves on the penalty kill for majority of the period.  The Predators were able to capitalize on a man advantage before the end of the period with Hunter Maisonneuve scoring a power play goal at 4:16.

The 3rd period went to the Rebels as they dominated the play and added 4 more goals.
Calvin Stewart carried the puck in and pushed his way to the net with the Predators defence finally bringing him down.  Austin King swooped in and lifted the loose puck up and over goaltender Jimmy St. Marie to the back of the net at 12:56.
Calvin stole the puck again and went in on a breakaway to score unassisted at 9:26.
Jack Kivell made a shot on net through traffic; Curtis picked up the rebound and passed over to Jake at the net at 5:31 . . . And Jake finished off the scoring and the hat-trick at 1:59 with a shot 5-hole.
Final score 7 - 1.

It was a terrific team effort today and a great way to head into the WOAA playoffs and Round 2 of the OMHA Playoffs.
Keep up the hard work, it is paying off!
