What a comeback!
With the flu behind them...The 'Harold Sutherland Construction' Peewee Rep boys have bounced back and earned a 4-1 win tonight in game 2 of their OMHA series with the Bruce Peninsula Predators.

The whole Rebels squad came out flying and Curtis Wade got them on the board in less than a minute, assisted by Jake Moran and Alex DeJong.
In a scramble at the net, Jake got the puck over the line at 4:28 on a power-play, with Curtis and Wesley Houston earning the assists.
Midway through the 2nd period with the arm going up for a Rebels' penalty, the boys seemed to pause expecting the whistle, but the Predators didn't stop and were able to score in the confusion.
Less than a minute later Austin King ended up face down on the ice in front of the Predators net, but with what looked like a yoga move and a back hand flick, he sent the puck up and over the goalie to the back of the net (where was the video camera for that one?). Pretty sure it was Jack Kivell who sent the puck towards the net for him.
At 10:22 in the 3rd Jake came off the bench, picked up a pass from Alex and fired it high into the net for the lone goal of the period.
The Rebels offence never quit, but that was the last shot that made it in.
Jason Rudolph-McLeod kept all but that one unfortunate one out of the Rebels net, while facing over 30 shots this game.
The defence team of Ethan Harrison, Jack Kivell, Dylan Ledingham and Danny Rourke did a great job slowing and blocking the advances of the quick Predators offence.

Game 3 on Thursday night is going to be interesting.
Go Get'em Rebels!
