Atom Girls Give Their Fans a Couple of Nail Biters!
The Rebels played an exciting game Sunday afternoon in Markdale against the first place Shooting Stars. Although they were tied for the first two periods they lost 4-2. They also had a closely matched game on Saturday against Bruce Peninsula.  They defeated them 2-0.  Allison Hoy got the shut out.

On Sunday Grey Highlands slipped one past Rebel goalie Allison Hoy early in the first period. The Rebels kept digging hard and Jolie McKnight tied it up in the first, assisted by Natalie Madill and Lyndsay Cumming.

The fast paced action went back and forth until Grey Highlands scored making it 2-1. Chatsworth was determined to tie it up and Lyndsay Cumming finally scored making it 2-2! Her goal was assisted by Emma Frook and Claire Vokes.

Despite their hard work Grey Highlands went ahead by two more goals in the third for a 4-2 final. Great job and improvement from last time. girls.

Saturday the girls hosted Bruce Peninsula. It was a closely matched game with lots of action. The first period ended without either team making it on the score board. TCDMHA goalie, Allison Hoy and Bruce Peninsula goalie, Ashlin Stewart made many great saves.

Late in the second period Jolie McKnight put the Rebels on the scoreboard making it 1-0. Her goal was assisted by Natalie Mole. Bruce Peninsula was still not making it easy on us until finally late in the 3rd Claire Vokes scored on a breakaway, unassisted.

Way to go girls! The fans appreciated the closely matched, exciting games all weekend!
