PLAYING and WINNING with CLASS!!!
Taking the high road ... The CHATSWORTH ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION Branch 464 PeeWee 'C' REBELS brought the 5 - 1 WIN home from Walkerton tonight in their 2nd last OWHA Playdown game!

Jamie Gilchrist was a force tonight for the REBELS, clearing the puck out of our end, blocking passes and digging at the net.  Early in the 1st period, Jamie got the puck out of our end and Tristin Brown was quick to pick it up and skate down and score.

Two minutes later, Tristin went coast to coast and fired the puck high in the net again.
Momentum was lost in the 2nd period and the plays just weren't coming together for the girls, and the Capitals ended up putting the puck in our net off a face-off in our end.
Back from the break, it was a whole new team!
Morgan Moran fired the puck out from behind our net to Abby Vokes who carried it the length of the ice.  She couldn't get a shot away but passed it out from behind the Walkerton net to Reese Wilkins who was ready with a one timer into the net.
Reese picked up another great pass from Emily Meuser and leaving the Walkerton D behind, buried the puck top shelf.
After some fabulous saves by Ashlynn Stephenson and a couple of crazy calls at the end of the 3rd period (the last being a too many men call at 1:57), Tristin got control of the puck right at the face-off, flew down and completed her hat-trick with a nice hard shot into the net (short handed).
Great game "T" and nice job staying out of the box!

The girls have a busy week coming up...
They travel to Wingham on Saturday for their last away game of the regular season; and play host to West Grey on Monday for their final playdown game; and Mount Forest on Tuesday for their final league game.
