Excellent TEAMWORK and a couple of HAT-TRICKS
Tristin Brown and Reese Wilkins both earned Hat-Tricks as THE CHATSWORTH ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION – Branch 464 PeeWee ‘C’ Girls travelled to Lucknow to face the 86’ers on Saturday.

The 1st period went end to end with both teams shooting, but Tristin was the only one able to capitalize on the efforts ... Morgan Moran shot from the point, and Tristin picked it up and found the back of the net.
The REBELS added 3 more in the 2nd and the 86’ers got a pair of their own, but it was all REBELS in the 3rd with 4 more unanswered goals to finish the game 8 – 2.
Here’s the breakdown:
Tristin  (Emily Meuser)
Tristin  (unassisted)
Emily    (Tristin)
Reese   (unassisted)
Reese   (Jade Gilchrist and Abby Vokes)
Tristin  (Emily)
Reese   (Abby)

Ashlyn Stephenson and our strong defence played a great game, controlling the play in our end.

The girls head to the Saugeen Shores Women's Silver Stick tournament next weekend where they will meet Wallaceburg and South Bruce on Friday and Bluewater on Saturday.

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
